Do
you allow IRC?
We allow stand alone IRC servers that
are not connected to global IRC networks
such as Undernet, EFnet, DALnet and
other IRC networks. IRC servers which
establish and maintain connections to
global IRC networks will be considered
to be in violation of the Acceptable
Use Policy.
Do
you allow adult sites for your dedicated
packages?
Web-Mantra does not allow Adult or pornographic
content of any kind whatsoever.
Do
you cap or throttle the bandwidth
on my server?
We do not limit your transfer rate
for your dedicated server. Your dedicated
server will have a 10mbps network
connection unless otherwise stated
(as in the 10mbps Unmetered systems).
We only limit the free amount of data
transfer per month (except for the
10mbps Unmetered systems). You will
receive an email that will let you
know when you are approaching your
limit. We do not throttle (limit)
your bandwidth at all.
How
do you handle a server that has been
discovered spamming?
The servers are shut down
immediately and the offenders have
to deal with the Abuse Department
to remedy the issue. It does depend
on the severity. If the server is
just spewing out trash then we are
forced to shut the server down to
protect the others on that subnet.
If it is merely a couple of complaints
then we will contact you to rectify
the issue. In the event you do not
respond in the said time or in a timely
manner then your server will have
to be taken down.We do operate on
a 2 strikes-youre out rule.
